Major: Communications (1991-92), Undecided (1989-90)

Weight: 220 (1993), 226 (1992), 220 (1990-91), 210 (1989)

1993: Media Guide: Will battle for the starting tailback position again this fall along with classmate Butler By’not’e and a number of underclassmen … came out of spring ball No. 1 at tailback last year, but a sprained ankle in early fall drills kept him out of the opener… the injury continued to nag him during most of the season, and it flared up again early in spring practice … came back to perform well late in the spring … he and By ‘not’e ended last season sharing the backup role to Robert Smith at tailback … appeared in 10 games and started against Syracuse, Illinois and Northwestern … finished second on the squad with 463 rushing yards and scored five TDs … ran for a season-high 94 yards against Bowling Green and scored a career-best three touchdowns vs. Northwestern … if he can stay healthy, he will definitely see plenty of playing time this fall, whether he starts or not … is difficult to bring down because of his strength, low running style and knack for breaking tackles … probably the best Buckeye runner from tackle to tackle.

1992: Media Guide: Projected himself into the starting tailback picture with a strong spring showing and is clearly the person to beat out in the battle to succeed Carlos Snow … tough, durable back who can carry the ball 20 to 25 times per game … has the power to go inside and the speed to get around the corner … combination of speed, size and power make him an ideal ball carrier in goal line and short-yardage situations … also spent some time at fullback in the spring and could see action there in the fall … improved his blocking noticeably in the spring … played in 10 games last year, but totaled just 78 minutes … 73 yards on 15 carries at Illinois and 69 yards at Minnesota on just eight carries were his best
