Hel's Trophy is one of the Norse mythical weapons linked to the Stones of Power. It is located on the fourth island.

Unlocking[]

To find this item, the Monarch must find Hel's shrine on the fourth island. It is recognizable by having four large boulders, each with an encircled Haglaz (ᚺ) rune, with statue of Hel herself sitting in the middle with a half-human, half-skeletal face and Younger Futhark's version of Haglaz rune (ᚼ) on her forehead. To activate this shrine, player should place two coins on each boulder and four coins on Hel's statue.

Upon placing coins, player will see four of his archers walking over from their walls and putting down their weapons (they must have shields) beneath the boulders and one squire putting down their axe beneath Hel's statue, as well and braziers and runes lighting up. Then, on Hel's statue they will see a skull-like item that can be picked up for one coin.

Due to the requirements, it is recommended to have a full purse (it requires twelve coins total), clean up whatever portal that stands in player's way and have relatively many archers sitting at home before activating this shrine.

Ability[]

By pressing the Monarch ability key/button with this item equipped, the Monarch can summon an ghostly Draugar raid group of four archers and one ghost viking squad leader that will follow them everywhere. They don't need coins like their human counterparts do and are more durable and stronger. However they are not invincible and will vanish if they are attacked enough times or when their time of thirty seconds runs out.

If they encounter a Greed portal, they will stop following the player and attack it, with the berserker slashing at the portal itself and any Greed that shows up. During night raids of Greed, the squad leader charges towards the enemy without ordering, like human berserkers.

Draugar benefit from Archery Shrine and Knight Shrine like their human counterparts do.
