    Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards and Liverpool footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have become parents to their little one. The couple announced through Instagram that the child had been born on Saturday, August 21.

    The pair shared black and white photos of the child's head and feet, though they did not reveal name or gender of the baby.


    The 28-year old singer announced her pregnancy in May writing that she was "so happy to be on this wild journey with my soul mate." She received congratulations from her many fans including “Love Island" presenter Laura Whitmore and singer Stacey Solomon, while her partner 28 year old footballer also got congratulatory wishes from England teammates Mason Mount, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jordan Henderson.

    Little Mix shot to fame in 2011, when they won the UK’s talent show- The X Factor, following the group to become one of the Britain’s biggest girl groups of four members- Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Jesy Nelson with its five number one singles in the UK, and one number one album.

    However, last December, Jesy Nelson announced that she will be leaving the group and that her decision to step back came after she suffered trolling on social media. Meanwhile, the remaining members said they intend to continue performing after Nelson’s departure.

    'Little Mix' singer Perrie Edwards engaged to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

    Perrie Edwards and footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are engaged to be married.
    As per report, the 'Little Mix' singer and the professional football player announced the news on Saturday, June 18. Edwards shared a series of photos of the romantic beach proposal, and a first look at her engagement ring on Instagram.
    "Last night the love of my life got down on one knee and I said...YES!" she wrote, tagging Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on the post.
    Little Mix bandmates Jade Thirlwall and LeighAnne Pinnock were among the many friends who left congratulatory messages for the announcement. Thirlwall left a comment of happy emojis, while Pinnock said, "Best news! So happy for you both."
    Reports, that the new trio's latest release was 'Between Us,' a stacked greatest-hits project, which dropped in November. In December, they said they had plans to take a little break after their spring tour, but that they'd be back: "Little Mix are here to stay."
    Meanwhile, Edwards and Oxlade-Chamberlain are parents to a baby named Axel, who was born on August 21, 2021.

    Los Angeles, Mar 15 (IANS): Singer Perrie Edwards says she does not like it when people stare at her or even at her singer boyfriend Zayn Malik.

    Edwards, who is member of band Little Mix, feels people must not ogle at others, reports mirror.co.uk.

    "I feel like a piece of meat. To be honest, I'd rather not have the attention. I don't think people should comment or gawp on who they think is hot," metro.co.uk quoted Edwards as saying.

    "I don't think men should be like that, or even women. I'm a person not a lamb chop." she added.

    Singer Perrie Edwards has stated that her upcoming debut solo album offers a diverse range of sounds. Fans of the former Little Mix member, who has dropped her surname for her solo career, have heard the first track of her solo work with the release of the upbeat banger called Forget About Us. Though the album features various flavors, it still functions as a cohesive body of work.

    Speaking to Rebecca Judd on Apple Music 1, she said: "I feel like [Forget About Us] is a really good introduction to my album and I think all my singles are going to be good introductions to what the album’s going to have on there. It is quite eclectic. It’s quite different, but it works as a body of work. So I love it, I’m just so excited. It’s nice for everyone to be hearing it instead of just me.

    She further added, "The one thing that I didn’t want to do is release a song and then not know where I’m going after that. I wanted everything to be ready in order, even if, for example, in my second single, the decision changes and we change it to something else. At least I’ve got a whole back catalogue now of what we can roll with. I just wanted to make sure everything was kind of wrapped up, tied nicely in a ball before I started venturing out."

    The artist also says that she has been inspired by all the big names in the industry including Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Christina Aguilera, and Kelly Clarkson.
